Destination marketing services for the redevelopment of a leisure park in Mauritius.
Casela is one of Mauritius’ oldest and most loved attractions. It started in 1979 as a bird park and added more nature and leisure facilities over time. In 2011, the owners – Medine Group – decided to proceed with a full redevelopment of the park to become the island’s No1 attraction.
Celebrating Life was asked to provide full destination marketing services for the redevelopment. We proceeded with market research and conducted a workshop to identify the new vision and story line of the park. We then assisted the marketing team to prepare a comprehensive sales & marketing plan for the re-launch. This included developing new mascots, branding guidelines, communications brief, pricing strategy, etc.
